GENESEO, N.Y., July 24, 2024 — The Livingston County Board of Supervisors has today named Travis Clark as the County’s new Grants & Public Information Coordinator, effective July 28, 2024.

A Livingston County native, Clark has served as the County’s Assistant Public Information Coordinator since June of 2021, where his duties involved the dissemination of public information and management of the County’s online presence, including its website and social media pages. He assumed the role of interim Grants and Public Information Coordinator on May 9, 2024. Livingston County Administrator Ian M. Coyle expressed confidence in Clark’s appointment, stating that his skills and experience align well with the County’s strategic goals.

“Travis’ extensive background in media and communications, coupled with his proven track record with the County, made him an ideal candidate for this role,” said Coyle. “He’s consistently demonstrated his dedication and expertise in public information management throughout his time here. His appointment marks our ongoing commitment to transparency and community engagement.”

Clark is a 2010 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations. His professional background includes service as a journalist in the U.S. Navy and more than eight years of marketing agency experience as a copywriter, editor and public relations specialist.

Clark shared his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’d like to thank County Administrator Coyle and the board for their support. I am honored to take on this position and grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents of Livingston County. I look forward to building on our successes and am eager to continue highlighting the achievements and initiatives of Livingston County to our residents.”
