GENESEO, N.Y., Feb. 18, 2025 - Livingston County is pleased to announce the eighth annual Community Clean Up Event taking place from April 12-20, 2025. The County is calling on community groups, local organizations, and individuals to commemorate Earth Day by hosting or volunteering for a local Clean Up event. County officials are urging residents to unite as a community to improve the environmental health of the County and get ready for Memorial Day festivities.
Those wishing to participate can organize an event of their own or join a scheduled event posted on the website listed below. Potential project areas include cemeteries, parks, roadsides, historic properties, community gardens, town and village halls, schools and other public spaces.
Livingston County Board Chair David LeFeber: “The annual Community Clean Up is a wonderful spring event that encourages the people of Livingston County to come together, get outside, and make a positive impact on the environmental health and beauty of their parks and communities.”
